In this self-published memoir, local Austin legend Eddie Wilson recounts the trials and tribulations of founding and running an infamous live music venue, the Armadillo World Headquarters, in 1970s Texas.
My role included hanging out and consulting with Eddie and Jesse about the book, listening to many good ol’ days tales of bygone Austin. I also budgeted and scheduled the project from manuscript to delivery. I oversaw the manuscript copyediting and formatting, and helped Eddie select and scan ephemera and photos from his vast personal archive. I designed the cover and interior layout, typeset the book, and managed proofreading, indexing, and the entry of text corrections. Finally, I arranged and managed the manufacturing and shipping of the large print run from China.
