Created as an homage to my paternal grandmother and the women who worked for the Women’s Army Corp during World War II, this handmade book features the photographs my grandmother took with her Brownie camera while stationed as a Constabulary Sergeant in Germany, Switzerland, and Japan between 1943 and 1948. Normally, I give form to other people’s content but this self-initiated project afforded me the opportunity to be a designer and an author.
