A monograph devoted to the work of American artist Dan Rizzie, this book showcases the first four decades of the artist’s career. Filled with collages, paintings, and prints the book is divided into two plates sections and three critical texts. I worked very closely with the artist who visited Austin several times in order to discuss the design and layout of the book. Together, we selected which of his pieces to include, how to sequence them, and we worked with a prepress and color management company to produce match prints for press comparison.
