In his memoir, Eddie Wilson documents the trials and tribulations of founding and running one of the most influential live music venues, the Armadillo World Headquarters, in 1970’s Austin, Texas. Eddie and the co-author Jesse Sublett approached me to help develop and package this book from manuscript to final book. My role included consulting, budgeting, and scheduling the project from manuscript to book form. This included managing the copyediting of the manuscript, choosing and scanning ephemera and photos to be reproduced in the book, designing the cover and interior layout, typesetting the book, managing the proofreading, indexing, and entering of text corrections, and finally arranging and managing the manufacturing.
